Italian Language Services provides a series of courses that can take students from beginners’ level through to GCSE and A level standard. These examinations can be taken if students wish to do so.

Individual private lessons are available at all levels, these can be arranged in small groups if required. There are also one day Italian Language Workshops and special classes for Holiday Italian. Italian Language Services has many years experience in designing and running courses at all levels. Christine Jewels is an enthusiastic teacher who gives individual attention to the needs and interests of all her students.

She has a passion for the language and culture of Italy that influences everything she does. The courses are carefully designed and provide very high quality teaching to give a truly enjoyable learning experience.

Course Information

Prices are for a minimum of 6 students per class unless otherwise stated. If there are less than 6 people enrolled, the price or number of weeks will be adjusted accordingly. Fees are payable in advance at or before the start of the course. They can also be paid in 2 instalments, the 2nd payment is due after 15 classes. Private lessons are usually payable at the time of the lesson. 48-hours notice is required for cancellation of private lessons.

Prices are valid only for the 2016-2017 academic year and do not include the price of a text book which will be required for most courses. All classes will be held at 36 Burroughes Avenue, Yeovil BA21 3JU. All courses are of 30 weeks’ duration (except Holiday Italian which is 10 weeks). All classes will start week commencing 19th September 2016 and will finish by approximately the end of May. Breaks for holidays to be arranged later.

No assessment tests of any kind will be required for any course. Year 3 offers the opportunity to study for GCSE but this is entirely optional. Students wishing to take AS or A2 level examinations will require extra private lessons. A certificate of attendance can be provided if required.
