Hazel established Lancaster Languages in 2008. She is a highly qualified linguist and teacher with a wealth of experience, from teaching foreign languages and ESOL/EFL in schools, through to Englishfor Academic Purposes at Lancaster University, and Business English for professionals in multinational companies. She completed a BA (Hons) degree in Linguistics at Reading University in 1990, and a PGCE the following year.
I have worked for the NHS for over 28 years as a Speech and Language Therapist and as a manager of Children's Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Special SchoolNursing Services. We offer one to one tuition for those of you who would prefer a more personal lesson, this enables you to have more control of your lesson. Some days you may want an all speaking lesson and others youmay prefer a text based one or a combination of the two, our teachers can give you the same level of learning incorporating this.

Any applicants applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain or Naturalisation will need to demonstrate they have completed the B1 (ESOL Entry 3) certificate and passed the Life in the UK test. Courses arefrom Monday to Friday 9.30 - 4.00 pm. The course will enable you to improve skills and grammar at Entry 3 before preparing for the test.

School of Sign Language was set up in 2006 by Debra Reynolds. With a mission to raise awareness of the deaf community by making BSL courses available for everyone within Lancashire. With thededication and determination to make this mission a reality Debra has been recognised for her efforts and received mountains of attention from the local and national media.
