About the Business
Bath Chinese School offers a unique opportunity for school age children, and adults, to learn the Chinese language on Saturday mornings in the well equipped classrooms of St Stephens Primary School. The familiar school setting provides a pleasant learning environment and safe play areas. The girls also have the opportunity to learn traditional Chinese dances.
We teach the standard Chinese, Pu Tong Hua (also known as Mandarin), and the simplified Characters used in mainland China, singapore and other places. All our teachers are well educated native Chinese speakers from mainland China or Taiwan, and DBS checked.
Children from all linguistic backgrounds and with all levels of Chinese language, including complete beginners, are welcome. Currently the majority of our students are from non-Chinese speaking families.
